At InvoiceQuick, we respect your privacy and are committed to protecting it. This Privacy Policy explains how InvoiceQuick (“we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, discloses, and safeguards information when you visit https://invoicequick.com, use our web application or mobile apps, or otherwise use our products and services (together, the “Services”).
By using the Services, you agree to the practices described here. If you do not agree, please do not use the Services.
This Policy applies to all InvoiceQuick websites, web and mobile applications, products, and services that link to it. It does not apply to third-party services that we do not control, even if you access them through the Services.
a. Information you provide
When you register for, purchase, or use the Services, we collect:
• Name, email address, phone number, and business or mailing address
• Account credentials
• Business profile information you add (company name, logo, tax settings)
• The content you create and upload: invoices, estimates, customer records, items, receipts, attachments, and transaction records
• Payment and billing details for your subscription, collected and processed by our payment processor; we do not store full card numbers on our servers
• Communications and feedback you send us
b. Information we collect automatically
When you use the Services, we automatically collect:
• IP address, browser type, operating system, and device identifiers
• Usage data (pages visited, features used, actions taken)
• General location (such as city or region) inferred from your IP address, used for security and fraud prevention; we do not collect precise GPS location
• Cookies and similar technologies on our websites (see our Cookie Policy)
c. Information from third parties
• Sign-in providers you choose to connect (such as Google or Apple), which share your name and email to create or access your account
• Our payment processor, which confirms subscription and payment status
• Service providers that help us validate or supplement account information
Our users upload contact and billing information about their own customers, such as names, email addresses, and billing addresses, to create and send invoices and estimates. We process that information as a service provider acting on our user’s behalf and instructions. The InvoiceQuick user who added the information is responsible for having the right to use it.
If you received an invoice from a business that uses InvoiceQuick, that business, not InvoiceQuick, controls your information. Please direct questions or privacy requests to the business that invoiced you; we will assist our users in honoring applicable requests. Emails we send on a user’s behalf (such as invoice delivery) identify the sending business.
Paying an invoice. If you pay an invoice online through a payment link, your payment card details are provided directly to our third-party payment processor (such as Stripe) and are governed by its privacy policy; InvoiceQuick does not receive or store your full card number. We receive transaction details, such as the amount, date, payment status, and card brand and last four digits, so the business that invoiced you can record and reconcile the payment.
Our iOS and Android apps collect the account and content information described above. In addition:
• Camera and photo library. The apps request access only when you choose to capture or attach an image (for example, adding a logo, scanning a receipt, or attaching a file). You can revoke access at any time in your device settings.
• On-device receipt scanning. Receipt scanning and text recognition run entirely on your device. Scanned images are not uploaded to our servers unless you save or attach them to a record in your account.
• No advertising or analytics SDKs. Our mobile apps do not include third-party advertising or analytics software and do not track you across other companies’ apps or websites.
• Push notifications. If you enable push notifications, we process a device push token (via Apple or Google notification services) to deliver them. You can turn notifications off at any time in your device settings.
We use the information we collect to:
• Create and manage your account
• Provide, operate, secure, and improve the Services
• Process subscription payments and transactions
• Deliver the documents and messages you create (such as sending your invoices)
• Communicate with you about your account, support inquiries, and service updates
• Send promotional emails about our own products and features; you can opt out at any time via the unsubscribe link
• Detect and prevent fraud, abuse, and security incidents
• Conduct internal research and analytics to improve the customer experience
• Comply with legal and regulatory obligations
We do not sell your personal information for money. Our websites use advertising cookies and pixels (including the Meta Pixel) to measure our marketing and reach people who may be interested in InvoiceQuick; under some state privacy laws, this kind of advertising disclosure may be considered “sharing” or a “sale” of personal information. You can opt out at any time; see Section 7. Our mobile apps contain no advertising or analytics SDKs.
We share information only in these limited circumstances:
• Service providers. Trusted vendors that help us deliver the Services (cloud hosting, email delivery, customer support tooling, analytics, and payment processing) under contracts that require them to protect your information and use it only to provide services to us.
• Advertising and analytics partners (websites only). Our websites use cookies and pixels from analytics and advertising partners (such as Google Analytics, Hotjar, HubSpot, and Meta) that may collect device identifiers, IP address, and activity on our sites. See Section 7 and our Cookie Policy for details and opt-out choices. Our mobile apps do not include these technologies.
• Delivery of your documents. When you send an invoice or estimate, we transmit it to the recipients you designate.
• Legal obligations. To comply with law or valid legal process, enforce our Terms of Use, or protect the rights, property, or safety of InvoiceQuick, our users, or others.
• Business transfers. If InvoiceQuick is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction; we will notify you of any change in ownership or in how your information is handled.
• With your consent. When you direct us to share, or otherwise give explicit permission.
We may also share aggregated or de-identified information that cannot reasonably be used to identify you.
Our websites use cookies and similar technologies for essential functions (like keeping you signed in), performance, and understanding how the Services are used. See our Cookie Policy for details and choices, including how to control cookies in your browser.
Our websites also use advertising pixels (such as the Meta Pixel) that may track your activity across websites to deliver and measure our advertising. You can opt out at any time:
• adjust or block cookies in your browser settings;
• use the Digital Advertising Alliance’s opt-out tools or, in the EU, Your Online Choices;
• enable the Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal in your browser (we honor GPC opt-out preference signals where required by law); or
• email privacy@invoicequick.com and ask us to opt you out of advertising disclosures.
We do not respond to legacy “Do Not Track” signals, for which no industry standard exists.
Depending on where you live, including under laws of California and a number of other U.S. states, you may have the right to:
• Know and access the personal information we hold about you
• Correct inaccurate personal information
• Delete your personal information
• Portability: receive a copy of your data in a portable format
• Opt out of marketing communications at any time
• Opt out of targeted advertising (“sharing”/“selling” under some state laws): see Section 7 for how
• Non-discrimination: we will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights
• Appeal: if we decline a request, you may appeal by replying to our decision, and you may lodge a complaint with your state attorney general or local data protection authority
To exercise these rights, email privacy@invoicequick.com from the address associated with your account (or provide information sufficient for us to verify your identity). We respond within the timeframes required by applicable law. You may use an authorized agent where the law allows; we will verify the agent’s authority.
Much of your information is directly accessible in the app: you can view and update your profile and business information in Account Settings, and you can delete your account (see Section 9).
We keep your information for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the Services, comply with legal obligations (such as tax and accounting requirements), resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.
• Account deletion. You can permanently delete your account at any time in Account Settings → Delete Account (web or mobile app), or by emailing support@invoicequick.com. Deletion removes your invoices, customers, items, and transactions from our production systems; residual copies are purged from backups within 180 days.
• Free-plan inactivity. As described in our Terms of Use, free accounts with no activity for more than 180 days may be terminated and their data deleted, after an email warning to the address on file.
We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect your information, including encryption in transit, access controls, and monitoring. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. You can help by using a strong, unique password and keeping your credentials confidential.
We are based in the United States, and the Services are hosted and administered there. If you access the Services from outside the U.S., your information will be transferred to, processed, and stored in the U.S. or other jurisdictions, which may not provide the same level of data protection as your home jurisdiction. Where required by law, we use appropriate safeguards for cross-border transfers.
The Services are not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16. If we learn that we have done so, we will delete it promptly. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact privacy@invoicequick.com.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you before they take effect, by email and/or prominent notice in the Services, and update the “Last updated” date above. Your continued use of the Services after a change takes effect means the updated Policy applies to you.
